The most important skill for any leader is to be able to move people. To move people on your team, to move your peers, to move the people above you, to move vendors or clients.

And you can only truly move people with authenticity. By being your true self. Possibly even being vulnerable at times. For if you're not authentic, then people can't trust you. They won't believe you. You won't have any credibility. So it requires authenticity to move people.
