How to Limit Turnover with a Strong Corporate Culture (Transforming High Employee Turnover)

Updated: Jun 17

Do You Have High Employee Turnover? Or are You Concerned about Having High Employee Turnover?

Organizations do not need to have high employee turnover, regardless of their industry.

A company's corporate culture will define its turnover. Companies with very strong, immersive corporate cultures - ones that are inclusive, cooperative, and have communication channels - have low employee turnover across industry, across the board.

Companies that don't have a good corporate culture - or companies that have a vision and mission and some list of values on the wall that they never helped percolate throughout the organization - those companies have high employee turnover.

Corporate Culture is Not Just Something that You Put on a Wall. Corporate Culture is a Consciousness that You Teach, that You Hold Up, that You Enforce, that You Guide, that You Listen to.

And of course, to create a strong corporate culture, it starts with the leaders. Leaders have to be completely on board as to what the company culture is. And be held accountable to enforce it.

Having this strong corporate culture embedded in all employees’ and leaders’ hearts will lower turnover. It will take time and persistence and thoughtfulness and care.
